Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Land at Port Blair - Cellular Jail + Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail

Land at Port Blair airport in the morning or afternoon and transfer to hotel. After some rest, visit the famous Cellular Jail, (entry closes at 1545hrs), an old colonial prison situated in Port Blair also known as ‘Kalapani’. Later, attend the enthralling Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive and then drop back to hotel. 

  • In case your flight lands in the afternoon, we may offer to take you direct from the airport to Cellular Jail so that you are able to watch the Sound & Light show. 
  • If your hotel is located at Wandoor or Chidyatapu, we will first take you to Cellular Jail and then drop you to the hotel. Light and Sound show will be done on return from Havelock/Neil.
  • Please note that since vehicles are not allowed to wait outside Cellular Jail, all guests will be dropped at the parking point (approximately 400mtrs from the entry gate of the Jail) and will have to walk from the parking point until the entrance. Once the Jail visit or Sound & Light show is done, the guest will have to walk back to the parking point to board the vehicle.
  • Please note that the Sound & Light show timing is subject to ticket availability.
Day 2 : Port Blair – Mount Harriet, City Tour

Today after breakfast, at 0830 hrs proceed to Mount Harriet – the 2nd highest peak (365 meters high) in the Andamans. Return to Port Blair and later start for a tour of places in & around Port Blair (1130 hrs) (City Tour) Chatam Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika). Evening at Leisure.

Day 3 : Port Blair - North Bay & Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island)

Today after breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to North Bay Island (Coral Island) by sharing boats. The same boat will then take the guest to  visit Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island) that was named after Mr Daniel Ross, a famous marine surveyor. In December 2018, it was renamed as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island. Drop back to hotel and evening at Leisure.

  • Ferry for North Bay trip leaves at fixed timings please ensure you are on time at Water Sports Complex from where you will board the boat
  • All activities are at an extra cost at North Bay
  • The last ferry for Ross Island (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island) leaves by 1400hrs.
Day 4 : Port Blair - Baratang Trip (Limestone Cave, Mangrove Boat Ride)

Depart early morning at 0400 hrs (approx) from Port Blair for Baratang, about 150kms via road from Port Blair. The land route from Port Blair (3.5hrs) involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forests. Once you reach the creek, you will need to alight from the vehicle and take a short ferry ride. Once you reach the other side our driver will assist with the boat tickets and forest permit. Based on the ticket, proceed to your sharing boat and embark on a short boat ride through amazing mangroves and then proceed to see the exotic Limestone Caves which involves a 1km walk to the caves. Return and departure by car from Baratang for Port Blair (150 kms). Evening at Leisure.

Day 5 : Picnic Lunch to Wandoor Beach and Chidyatapu

Today proceed at around 1100 hrs to Wandoor Beach which is 30 kms away from Port Blair city where we will provide some packed Biryani/ Meal and guest can enjoy the scenic view and then post lunch at1500 hrs proceed to Chidyatapu 30 kms (1hr) from Port Blair via a scenic road trip through forests and rural Andamans. Spend some time swimming, taking pictures and returning to Port Blair. Evening at leisure.

Day 6 : Port Blair Airport

Enjoy your breakfast and check-out from the Port Blair hotel as per the hotel allocated time. Head straight to the airport to board the departure flight. Have a safe trip home taking back fond memories of these stunning islands.

  • Do note that all Port Blair hotels have an early morning check-out time and late check-out is provided at the discretion of the hotel management and subject to availability.
  • Port Blair airport has a small single runway and usually with a heavy rush of tourists. Request all guests to report at least 1.5hrs before departure flight timing.

Note :

  • For guests at Wandoor or Chidyatapu hotels, Cellular Jail visit precedes hotel drop, and the Light and Sound show is scheduled on return from Havelock/Neil.
  • Baratang closed on Monday, valid ID proof needed for permit. 
  • Port Blair hotels have an early morning check-out time, and late check-out is subject to hotel management discretion and availability. Guests are advised to report at least 1.5hrs before the departure flight timing.
  • Andamans does not have star ratings for hotels. Instead, we use categories such as Standard, Deluxe, Special Beachside Combo, Luxury, Premium, and Platinum. The options provided in your quote align with these classifications.
  • We advise against opting for the Modified American Plan (MAP) due to its average, repetitive buffet spread, limited to Indian cuisine, and higher cost. Choosing items from the menu offers a more economical and flexible dining experience for guests.
  • Kindly note that the package cost has been meticulously calculated based on the provided itinerary, along with its exclusions and inclusions. We recommend reviewing these details thoroughly before confirming the package.
